As a volunteer, you may be asked to help out in one of many departments in the hospital. Some volunteer responsibilities include:

• Patient and visitor assistant
• Gift shop associate
• Clerical support
• Flowers, mail and newspaper delivery
• Receptionist support
• Volunteer with guild and special projects
• Help family members/visitors during surgical procedures
• Serve as an Emergency Department "angel"

HMH Guild

The mission of the Hardin Memorial Hospital Guild is to support the hospital through fund raising efforts and volunteer contributions. The HMH Guild has a long history of community wide support having raised thousands of dollars over the last fifty years for the purchase of needed hospital equipment and facility improvements. The Guild meets September through June on the second Friday of each month.
