HMH Honors Associates for Years of Service
Hardin Memorial Hospital held its 39th Annual Service Awards Dinner at the Plaza Inn. The hospital's board members, administration, directors and loved ones gathered to honor those associates who have given a combination of 450 years of service to the hospital overall. Their years of service range from 5 to 45.
Mark Seckinger, HMH President, welcomed everyone and thanked the many associates for all their hard work and dedication. Mr. Steve McCullough, Chairman of the HMH Board, made a few comments stating, " The Board of Trustees would like to congratulate the associates that are being recognized for their years of service and dedication to Hardin Memorial Hospital." He concluded, saying how proud the Board is of the associates for making the hospital an outstanding healthcare facility.

Mark Seckinger presented the HMH Award for Excellence which is given to the staff member who shows excellence in the core values of the HMH service standards - quality, teamwork, accountability, improvement, leadership and service. The award was created by associates to honor their own, and is given based on the past year nominees of monthly appreciation award winners. Karen Lawrence from the Nutritional Services Department was this year's recipient of the HMH Award for Excellence. Seckinger stated, "Karen wanted to give all of our patient's an extra special Mother's Day. She went to the store and picked up roses and provided them to each of our patients and created a special menu for the day as well. We are very lucky to have Karen as a part of our HMH family."
